Cornerstone Chicken Burger

Want more than a regular chicken burger to feed the whole family? Here’s a quick recipe to make your burger more bistro-like!

This recipe is versatile, so you can replace the chicken with any meat, fish or even veges!

Replace all or any of the filling with your choice- make it your own!

INGREDIENTS

Whole roast chicken from the supermarket

1 pack burger buns

Mayonnaise

Lettuce

Cheese slices

1 sliced cucumber

½ red onion sliced

1 tin sliced beetroot

Cornerstone Rub


METHOD

Shred the roast chicken

Sprinkle Cornerstone Rubs and shallow fry for 5 minutes to release the flavours

Toast the burger buns * optional

Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bun

Add lettuce leaves

Spoon some chicken on the bed of lettuce

Add a few rings of red onions

Add 2 slices of beetroot

Add 2 or 3 slices of cucumber

Add a slice of cheese


Voila! A Bistro burger, serve & enjoy!
